Endoscopic Brow/Forehead Lift

"The voyage of discovery lies not in finding new landscapes, but in having new eyes..."

—Marcel Proust

Four elements make the eyes youthful, feminine, and beautiful. These are the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids, the position of the eyebrows, and the area between the eyebrows called the glabella. The glabella is the spot where frown lines or the “elevens” appear. Many patients seek eyelid lift when in fact what is required is raising the brow (forehead). A low brow imparts an angry, tired, and worn look. Low brows crowd the orbits and hide the upper eyelids. Regaining a youthful, feminine eye may require an upper eyelid lift, an endoscopic brow lift, or both. Lifting with one’s hand while looking in the mirror will give you an idea. The procedure is best done with the endoscopic approach. This requires four incisions (two on either side) within the hairline. It is done quickly and gently and is generally without pain.
