An Update from us on COVID-19 – We are (H)opening mid-May!

We are (H)opening mid-May!

To our friends, valued patients and your families, we sincerely hope you remain healthy, safe, and dealing with these trying times as best as you can. Respecting others and common sense are terrific avenues to safe practices.  Broadcast media has done a remarkable job of reinforcing those safe practices as part of our daily lives.As you know, we have been closed by government order, but remain hopeful that Governor Baker’s new date to reopen of May 18th holds true. 

We are preparing an integrative plan to adapt to this new environment. Our considerations as a Facial Plastic Surgery practice, an accredited surgical suite, and medical spa include the following steps:

  • Schedule patients accordingly to social distance throughout the visit. 
  • Maintain the highest standards of sterilization.
  • Patients will be screened via a brief questionnaire given by our nurse when making appointments by phone for any symptoms of illness prior to coming in.
  • Patients and staff will have their temperatures checked as they come in to the office. 
  • Masks will be required of all patients (except during facial treatments!) and staff – of course, our staff will be continuously changing their protective equipment for each patient interaction.
  • All surfaces and equipment will be disinfected between every patient.

Many of these practices are already part of our routine.  We will continue to provide the highest degree of oversight, keeping us all safe and healthy. 

We check messages several times throughout the week and will be available for scheduling as soon as we have the parameters of opening in place. We are looking into doing video consultations with Dr. Truswell and his staff and will let you know if that becomes a workable solution in the coming weeks.

We truly miss seeing all of you and look forward to resuming our practice and continuing to make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. You deserve it!
