Dr. William H. Truswell opened his practice in 1976 in Northampton, Massachusetts. University trained in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, Dr. Truswell limits his practice to Facial Plastic Surgery. This dedication ensures that your aesthetic and functional concerns will receive undivided attention in his practice. Dr. Truswell introduced cosmetic surgery to Hampshire County and opened the first office based surgical suite in 1980.
The Aesthetic Laser and Cosmetic Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art office surgical facility. It is the first facility of its kind in Western Massachusetts to be accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The staff includes nurses, technicians, aestheticians and administrative personnel. They arrange, prepare for and help carry out hundreds of cosmetic surgical procedures each year. Many procedures are minimally invasive and these enhancements carry little to no “down time”.
Our family of professionals is famous for their warmth, caring and compassion. Patients’ experiences are unique and remarkable. The medical spa “Syzygy” is an integral part of our facility. Healthy skin enhances a more youthful appearance. The Spa provides many treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and laser treatments to restore and maintain youthful, clear skin.
