Welcome to our web site and thank you for your interest
It is important that you get to know who I am and what kind of work I do. I come from a family of artistically talented people. My mother, aunt and grandfather all painted, drew and sculpted. My son is a glass artist. I have been fortunate to have been able to combine my natural artistic nature with my love for medicine in my practice of Facial Plastic Surgery. An artist always signs his/her work. It seemed logical to me to use my signature for my logo. To me this signifies pride in and responsibility for my work.
I came to the beautiful city of Northampton, MA in 1976. In the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains it is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. Northampton is the home of Smith College and the heart of the five college area encompassing Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Amherst and Hampshire Colleges and the University of Massachusetts. It is an area of rich cultural tradition with year round plays, concerts, ballet, opera and lectures. The city is filled with interesting shops, boutiques and galleries. Northampton boasts over 100 restaurants catering to all forms of international cuisine.
My practice is limited to Facial Plastic Surgery. I am particularly concerned with the quality of care we deliver and the privacy of our patients. Consultations can be arranged in strict privacy, evenings or weekends if required. I perform surgery in my accredited facility’s operating suite – there is no list of patients and their surgeries made as is the case in most hospital and surgicenter operating rooms. Out of town patients stay at the Hotel Northampton in one of their apartment suites and are visited by one of our nurses the night of surgery.
I hope you enjoy our web site and find it both interesting and informative.
